The authority has started a new campaign to light up Greater Noida before the festival of lights, Diwali. CEO of Greater Noida Authority NG Ravi Kumar has handed over the responsibility of lighting up the city's roads to ACEO Prerna Singh. For the last two days, Prerna Singh has visited various parts of the city to take stock of the street lights at night, the effect of which is now visible. On Tuesday night, ACEO Prerna Singh inspected the industrial sector Ecotech-3. During this, she saw that more than half of the street lights were found to be off. On this negligence, she expressed strong displeasure at the representatives of the authority's electrical engineering department and Surya Company, which is taking care of the street lights. She immediately directed that the lights that were off should be turned on within 24 hours and warned of strict action against those who were negligent.

On inspecting Sector Ecotech-3 again on Wednesday, Prerna Singh saw that most of the lights were on. After this, he also inspected Murti Roundabout, Char Murti Roundabout, Sector 16B, Sector One and Techzone Four. Instructions were given to repair the street lights at all these places. During this campaign, OSD Abhishek Pathak, Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering Anoj Anand, Manager Nikhil Gupta and Assistant Manager Manoj Kumar were also present. ACEO Prerna Singh instructed the Electrical Engineering Department to conduct a special campaign to inspect the street lights and repair them. This campaign will not only add to the beauty of Greater Noida on the occasion of Diwali, but will also ensure the safety of the city residents. With the activeness and responsibility of ACEO Prerna Singh, it is expected that soon the streets of the city will be illuminated, which will further enhance the image of Greater Noida.
