Woman dies due to wrong treatment at Om Gangotri Hospital, hospital license cancelled

The investigation into the death of a woman due to closing of the urine pipe of the pregnant woman during cesarean delivery at Om Gangotri Hospital located at Matiara Chauraha in Deeh police station area has been completed. After which the CMO cancelled the license of the hospital on Friday. Police has started investigating the case registered in Deeh police station in this matter. The accused is absconding.

Anil Kumar, a resident of Veerpur Majra Baravan village of Parsadepur area, had admitted his wife Sanju Devi (27) to Om Gangotri Hospital located at Matiara Chauraha on September 14. After cesarean delivery, the pregnant woman died during treatment in Lucknow. On the complaint of the deceased's husband, a case was registered in Deeh police station against Asha Bahu, Gangotri Hospital doctor and manager under relevant sections. The woman was accused of closing the urine pipe of the pregnant woman during cesarean delivery. On the orders of CMO, ACMO Dr. Arvind Kumar's committee investigated the matter. Statements of many people were recorded, but the operator did not come to give the statement even after being called. The matter also came to the notice of DM. DM Harshita Mathur summoned the entire file and after a thorough review, ordered to complete the investigation immediately and cancel the license. The investigation of the case was completed on Friday.

The negligence of the hospital operator has been exposed in the investigation. Despite the ultrasound report being good and the pregnant woman having sufficient blood in her body, arbitrariness was caught in conducting a cesarean delivery. Amar Ujala had published a news in its September 19 issue titled Gangotri Hospital operator found guilty in the investigation. After the investigation was completed, the CMO cancelled the license of the hospital on Friday. The investigation of Om Gangotri Hospital located at Matiara Chauraha in Parsadepur has been completed. After confirmation of negligence in cesarean delivery, the license of the hospital has been cancelled. The case is being investigated by Deeh Police. Dr. Virendra Singh, CMO
