DM: Provide employment to unemployed youth by organizing employment fairs in the district

With the aim of registering all government and semi-government departments on the Integrated Employment Sangam Portal operated by Directorate of Training and Employment, Uttar Pradesh and providing employment to unemployed youth of the district through employment fairs, a review meeting regarding Mission Employment was held in the Collectorate Auditorium today under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma, in which District Employment Assistance Officer Gautam Buddha Nagar Manisha Atri provided detailed information to the officers present about the Integrated Employment Sangam Portal.

The District Magistrate directed the District Employment Assistance Officer Manisha Atri to ensure registration of all government and semi-government departments of the district on the Integrated Employment Sangam Portal. Also, the officers of all the departments present in the meeting were instructed to upload the details of employment generation by all the departments on the Rojgar Sangam Portal every month. Action will be taken as per rules against the department head who is negligent in this work.

The District Magistrate directed the officers of the Employment Department to ensure that as many employment fairs as possible are organized in the district so that as many unemployed youth of the district can get employment. He said that wide publicity should be ensured about the Israel Drive being run with the objective of providing employment to the workers in Israel in the district so that more and more people can apply and get employment. He also said that a review meeting should be organized every month regarding Mission Rozgar and the presence of the heads of all the departments should also be ensured in it. He directed to issue clarification of the absent officers in the meeting.
