Dispute between husband and wife resolved with the mediation of Women's Aid Cell, happiness returned to married life

Under the direction of Police Commissioner Smt. Laxmi Singh, continuous efforts are being made for women's safety in Gautam Buddha Nagar. Women related disputes are being resolved through mediation under the leadership of DCP Women's Safety Mrs. Suniti. In this sequence, an important case was recently resolved, in which the applicant Mrs. Kirti Rathore (fictitious name) had accused her husband Ramkumar (fictitious name) of demanding dowry and physical-mental torture. After an application sent in July 2024, the Women's Aid Cell was directed to mediate the matter. In this direction, counseling was organized under the guidance of DCP Women's Safety. There were differences between the two parties over minor matters, but the understanding given during counseling changed the situation.

Under the agreement, both the parties have decided to live together with mutual consent, and currently there is no dispute between them. Both are moving towards making their married life happy again. It is worth mentioning that they got married in the year 2011 under an arranged marriage, and both have two children. The main dispute was regarding the husband's drinking and household expenses, due to which the family of both was on the verge of breaking up. Counseling of Mahila Sahayata Prakoshtha played an important role in reviving their married life. This incident has proved that counseling and mediation done in the right direction can not only resolve disputes, but also bring happiness in married life. With the efforts of the Police Commissioner and his team, a positive example has been set towards women's safety and dispute resolution.
