Noida: A major success has been achieved by the police in Surajpur police station area, where three vicious miscreants were arrested in a police encounter during checking at Deola Cut. These miscreants, trying to escape after seeing the police, also fired at the police, but in retaliation, all three miscreants were injured and the police arrested them. The incident happened when the police was checking and a suspicious Swift car (number UP 82AT 8592) was seen coming. When the police signaled to stop, the miscreants in the car started running towards Pakshi Vihar Deola. The police chased them, and during this time the miscreants started firing at the police. The police retaliated in self-defense, in which all three miscreants were shot in the leg and were injured.

The arrested miscreants have been identified as Ashwini alias Chiku (Village Sadarpur, PS Sector 39), Prince (Village Sadarpur, PS Sector 39), and Shashank (Janta Flat, Sector 117, PS Sector 113). Three .315 bore pistols, three empty cartridges, six live cartridges, and a Swift car looted from Surajpur police station area have been recovered from their possession. According to the police, the accused had committed a cab robbery incident in Khodna Khurd of Surajpur police station area on the night of 6-7 October 2024. The arrested accused have been sent to the hospital for treatment, and their criminal history is being investigated. This prompt action by the police has increased the sense of security among the local residents, and this incident reflects the promptness of the police and their commitment to take strict action against the criminals.
