Giving information about the encounter that took place in broad daylight in Noida, DCP Central Noida Shakti Mohan Awasthi said that today during checking at Display intersection by the Phase-2 police station, a Splendor Plus rider without a number plate coming from Dadri Main Road was signaled to stop, but he did not stop.

He told that the police chased the motorcyclist, and that person started running towards the road going to Sector-112 from Kakrala Idgah. He told that on seeing himself surrounded by police, he left the motorcycle and started firing with the pistol in his hand with the intention to kill the police force. He got injured in the action taken by the police in self-defense. The DCP told that the said person has been identified as Shakeel son of Habib Khan resident of Sharma's dairy near Salarpur police station sector-39 Noida commissionerate Gautam Buddha Nagar original address village Roshanpur police station Charkhari district Mahoba. His age is 22 years. He got injured after being shot in the leg. He told that a pistol 315 bore, 1 empty cartridge 315 bore, 1 live cartridge 315 bore and stolen motorcycle Splendor Plus without number plate have been recovered from the possession of the injured criminal. The injured accused is being admitted to the hospital. He told that many cases are registered against this criminal in various police stations.
