Kangana Ranaut is all set to take on a new cinematic challenge with her upcoming film ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’, which has just been announced. Even though she is waiting for the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) clearance for her much-hyped film ‘Emergency’, the announcement of this new project has already created a buzz. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh ​​shared the news via X on Tuesday that Kangana will play the lead role in ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’. He said that the film will tell the inspiring stories of ordinary people whose extraordinary achievements often go unnoticed. The new film aims to shed light on these unsung heroes – the working class people who keep the country running smoothly. The film will be directed by Manoj Tapadia and produced by Babita Ashiwal of Eunoia Films and Aadi Sharma of Floating Rocks Entertainment. The makers have emphasised that the film is dedicated to the blue-collar workers who form the backbone of the country. Expressing her excitement about collaborating with Kangana on the project in a statement, Babita Ashiwal said that the team is committed to creating content that the audience will love. She is confident that Kangana's involvement will help the film connect with the audience on a deeper level.

'Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata' is designed to pay tribute to the unsung heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes ensuring that the country's day-to-day operations keep running smoothly. The film seeks to celebrate the efforts and sacrifices of these common people by highlighting their invaluable contributions. Meanwhile, Kangana is battling a delay in the release of her film 'Emergency'. Which is based on the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and the controversial 21-month Emergency imposed by her from 1975 to 1977. Kangana recently clarified on social media that the film's certification has not been finalised despite previous reports. She revealed that the CBFC has put the certification on hold due to threats against board members arising from some sensitive scenes in the film. Expressing her disappointment, Kangana said that the pressure to delete scenes such as Indira Gandhi's assassination and Punjab riots has left her in a dilemma. The film which also stars Anupam Kher and the late Satish Kaushik was originally scheduled to release on September 6. But now its fate is uncertain.
