Instructions to officers to take effective action for the safety, education and protection of children under the Child Protection Act
In accordance with the intention of the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath Ji, with the aim of curbing child labor, child marriage, begging across the state, the officials of the Uttar Pradesh State Child Rights Protection Commission are ensuring their action by touring on a regular basis. In the same series, today, Honorable Member of Uttar Pradesh State Child Rights Protection Commission, Anita Agarwal, during her visit to the district, after conducting a field inspection of Sai Kripa Bal Griha Sector 12 22 Noida, District Hospital, Anganwadi Center and Primary School in Village Hafizpur Noida and Shahi Enterprises Company Face to Noida, reached Surajpur Collectorate and while reviewing the works related to child protection with the officials of the departments related to child rights protection, said that the clear intention of the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is that the entire state should be made free from child marriage, child labor and begging and the young generation should be made free from drug addiction. That is why the responsibility of the officers increases even more that under the Child Protection Act, the officers of all the departments should ensure their effective action by establishing mutual harmony in the direction of safety, education and protection of children, so that the intention of the Honorable Chief Minister can be given a concrete form. She also instructed the officers of the concerned education that awareness campaigns should be conducted on a large scale in the district to save the young generation from child labor, begging, child marriage and drug addiction and under the Ek Yudh Nasha Ke Viruddh Abhiyan, extensive publicity should also be done in the educational institutions and schools of the district, so that our young generation can be freed from the deadly addiction of drugs.
While reviewing the work related to child protection being done by the Social Welfare, Labor, Education, District Child Protection Unit, Minority Welfare, Divyangjan Welfare, Excise and other related departments, the Honorable Member said that there should be absolutely no child labor, begging in the district, on this the officers should ensure their action by running campaigns on time. She instructed the concerned officers to run a campaign against drugs. He said that strict action should be taken against tobacco product sellers within 100 meters of schools. He obtained information from the officials of the District Program Department regarding Anganwadi workers and Nutrition Campaign. He instructed the officials of the Education Department that while conducting surprise inspections of schools, children's bags should also be searched, so that the children are not bringing any intoxicating substance or unnecessary items in their bags. He instructed the officials of the Health Department that all medicines should be kept in sufficient quantity at the Jan Aushadhi Centers in the District Hospital. He also said that the benefits of the schemes being run by the Health Department should reach the eligible persons, no eligible person should be deprived.
The District Probation Officer informed the honorable member in detail about the progress of the schemes being run by the Probation Department. While reviewing the schemes of the District Probation Department, the honorable member said that the schemes being run by the State Government for the benefit of women and children in the district should be promoted on a wide scale, so that no eligible person is deprived of the benefits of the schemes. The officers present on this occasion assured the honorable member that the necessary guidelines provided by her today will be followed and the clear intention of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of the state will be given a concrete form. District Probation Officer, Chief Medical Officer, District Excise Officer, District Program Officer, other related departmental officers and Child Welfare Committee officials were present in this important meeting.
