Interested construction workers will have to register on the integrated portal of Employment Department, Rojgar Sangam.

In the sequence of instructions of District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma, District Employment Assistance Officer Manisha Atri gave information that NSDC is the designated implementing agency under the contract between the Government of India and the Government of Israel for the process of providing employment to construction workers in Israel. NSDC, in coordination with PIBA, is taking action to send construction workers of framework/shuttering carpenter, iron bending, ceramic tile and plastering category to Israel, whose salary will be Rs 1.37 lakh per month. Giving information regarding the eligibility for the above, the District Employment Assistance Officer said that the age of the worker should be 25 to 45 years, passport of at least 3 years validity, at least 3 years of work experience in the relevant trade is mandatory and should not have worked in Israel before. The conditions and eligibility regarding the above are mentioned on the portal of Employment Department (ROJGAR SANGAM.UP.GOV.IN). For this, eligible interested construction workers have to go to the integrated portal of Employment Department (ROJGAR SANGAM.UP.GOV.IN) as job seekers and register for Israel. He informed that 5000 workers will be selected from the entire state and sent on first come first serve basis, for which 30000 registrations have been done in the state so far.

Before the professional test drive for the selection of construction workers by PIBA, an institution of the Israel government, the pre-screening process related to the evaluation of the knowledge of English language of the workers registered on the portal will be done by the Principal of the Nodal ITI of the district and the District Employment Assistance Officer of the Employment Office. The pre-screening process is the first stage of the selection process for sending workers to Israel. After this, RPL will be done for the workers who pass the pre-screening. Professional test will be taken by PIBA, an institution of Israel, for the selection of workers having RPL certificate. Police verification and medical proceedings will be conducted for the workers who pass this test. The pre-screening/RPL proceedings are not in any way a validation of the selection of workers for Israel recruitment, but are a stage of selection proceedings by PIBA. ITI and Employment Office have to provide construction workers of the relevant trade to Israel's institution PIBA for selection proceedings. The work of sending the finally selected candidates to Israel is to be done by NSDC and PIBA.

He informed that the facility of registration on Rojgar Sangam portal has been started for the construction workers of the district related to the above trade.
