Awareness campaign organized under parent-teacher seminar in District Gautam Buddha Nagar

Gautam Buddha Nagar: Under the instructions of District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma and Mission Shakti Phase 5, parent-teacher seminar and public participation and awareness campaign was organized in Jewar block. This program was organized in Upper Primary School Bhikanpur, Upper Primary School Sabauta Mustafabad, and Upper Primary School Chhatanga Khurd and other schools.

Under this awareness campaign, Power Angels and other members of Meena Manch informed the people of the community about various helpline numbers. These numbers include 1098 (child helpline), 181 (women helpline), 112 (emergency assistance), and other important helplines, which are available for help in times of crisis.

Serious social issues like domestic violence and child marriage were also discussed during the program. The people present were made aware of the ill-effects of these problems, how they harm the society and what measures can be taken to prevent them. For this, these issues were presented in visual form through various plays and presentations, so that the people present could easily understand the seriousness of these issues.

The objectives of the seminar were not only to establish better communication between parents and teachers, but also to ensure that people remain aware of their rights and laws. In particular, through this program, people were motivated to prevent crimes against women and children.

The success of the program was due to the contribution of the local administration and teachers, who played an important role in taking it to the public. This campaign will be organized in various areas in future so that the message can reach every section of the society that it is necessary for everyone to unite to prevent domestic violence, child marriage and other crimes against women and children.
