नोएडा: शारदीय नवरात्रि के दौरान जनपदवासियों को शुद्ध खाद्य एवं पेय पदार्थ उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देश्य से जिलाधिकारी मनीष कुमार वर्मा के नेतृत्व में खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं औषधि प्रशासन विभाग द्वारा व्यापक जांच अभियान चलाया जा रहा है।
Noida: Food safety campaign intensified under the leadership of DM Manish Kumar Verma in view of Sharadiya Navratri
Noida: With the aim of providing pure food and beverages to the people of the district during Sharadiya Navratri, a comprehensive investigation campaign is being conducted by the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department under the leadership of District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma. Under this campaign, food samples are being taken by the department from various places to ensure that the food items available in the market are in accordance with the prescribed standards. Assistant Commissioner Food II Sarvesh Mishra, while giving information, said that the purity of buckwheat flour, sago and other food items is being checked especially during Sharadiya Navratri. He informed that teams of food safety officers are conducting raids at various places. In today's campaign, the team of Food Safety Officer OP Singh and Amar Bahadur Saroj took samples of buckwheat flour from Zepto Store located in Sector 46 Noida and Dhamija Grinder located in Dadri. At the same time, a sample of Vanaspati was taken from the C & F Store of Bunge India Private Limited located in Chhapraula.
Apart from this, the team of Food Safety Officer Vijay Bahadur Patel and Mukesh Kumar collected samples of buckwheat flour and sago from Blanket Store located in Sector 22 Noida. In the same sequence, a sample of rice was taken from Vimal PG located in Beta 1 Greater Noida and a sample of gram flour laddu from Shiv Shakti Sweets. A sample of chhena rasgulla was taken from Agarwal Sweets in Beta 1, where about 100 kg of contaminated chhena rasgullas were found unfit for human consumption, which were destroyed on the spot. Sarvesh Mishra said that a total of eight samples are being sent to the laboratory for investigation, and further action will be taken after the investigation report comes. This campaign will continue under the leadership of the District Magistrate, so that pure and safe food items can be made available to the people of the district.
