In line with the instructions of the Election Commission of India, District Magistrate/District Election Officer Manish Kumar Verma today conducted a monthly inspection by visiting the EVM/VVPAT warehouse located in the Collectorate. Representatives of political parties and related officers and employees were present during the inspection. During the inspection of the warehouse, the District Magistrate talked to the concerned police staff engaged in the security system and obtained information related to security and provided necessary guidelines in view of the security of EVM machines. He checked the seal on the lock of the EVM/VVPAT warehouse, which was found to be correct. The District Magistrate also observed the CCTV cameras thoroughly, all the cameras were found to be functional. On this occasion, the District Magistrate provided necessary guidelines to the concerned police officers engaged in the security of the warehouse in view of the security of EVM machines and provided necessary guidelines to the concerned officers to keep all the arrangements strong. During the inspection, all the arrangements of the EVM/VVPAT warehouse were found to be satisfactory.
