The doors of the temple were opened after taking the permission of Lord Veerbhadra and Manbhadra. First of all, the Lord was given a bath, Panchamrit Abhishek and water mixed with saffron was offered. After this, Baba Mahakal was decorated grandly. Tripund was put on his forehead and Maa Ganga was seated in his matted hair. Along with this, he was decorated in a royal form by wearing a new crown with mawa and dry fruit. After this, ashes were offered to Baba Mahakal on behalf of Mahanirvani Akhara. Devotees witnessed the divine Bhasma Aarti of Baba Mahakal from Nandi Hall and Ganesh Mandapam.
