The railways further said services were running only between CSMT-Wadala and Vashi-Panvel. "Down services were not running between Wadala-Vashi. The process of repairing the OHE has been started. Due to the breakdown in the down line, services on the up line were also affected," the Central Railway CPRO said in a statement. The fault has been rectified and services were restored at 9:30 am, he said. Overhead electric (OHE) lines are used to transmit electrical energy over long distances. It is conducive to the smooth movement of train traffic.
