Earlier, objections were sought on the provisional voter list. On Tuesday, more than 70 objections were received on both the sugar mills and two committees. Among them, 12 objections were received on Baghpat Cooperative Sugarcane Development Committee, 20 on Baghpat Sugar Mill, 20 on Malkpur Cooperative Sugarcane Development Committee and more than 18 on Ramala Sugar Mill.

Among them, 20 farmers were found dead, the names and addresses of many voters were wrong. After investigation on Wednesday, the election officials resolved the objections and the names of the deceased were struck off from the list. Those whose names and addresses were wrong were corrected. After investigation, the final voter list was pasted. The nomination process for the general body election will begin from Thursday. The nomination process for these will be done at the Cooperative Sugarcane Development Committee, committee office in Baghpat, for Malkapur Cooperative Committee at Gayatri Devi College of Education, Baraut, committee office located at Baghpat Sugar Mill, committee office located at Ramala Cooperative Sugar Mill. Around one lakh 80 thousand voters will exercise their voting rights in the election and the voting will be done on September 3 from 8 am to 4 pm. The result will be announced on the same day after counting of votes.
