On Tuesday night, when a truck loaded with cattle was stopped in the Kotwali area, the driver tried to trample the Bajrang Dal workers. On receiving the information, the police blocked the road and the driver fled from the spot leaving the truck loaded with cattle. The cattle recovered from the truck were sent to the Gaushala. Around 2 o'clock on Tuesday night, Bajrang Dal district coordinator Suresh Singh received information that a large number of cattle smugglers have loaded a truck from a garden in Baradih village and left for Jaunpur district. On receiving the information, Bajrang Dal workers surrounded the cow smugglers along with the truck on Suchi road. During this time, the truck driver tried to trample the Bajrang Dal workers.
The workers somehow saved their lives and informed CO Salon Pradeep Kumar about the incident. Taking the incident seriously, the CO immediately directed Suchi and Karhiya outpost police to block the truck and catch it. Bajrang Dal workers Sanjay Tiwari, Rohit, Abhishek reached the toll plaza along with the CO. To escape from the police, the driver, smuggler and the helper left the truck near the toll and fled taking advantage of the darkness. The 16 cattle recovered from the truck were sent to Bhawanipur Gaushala. A case has been registered against the unknown truck driver on the complaint of Suchi Chowki in-charge Prince Sonkar. The truck has been seized. The owner of the truck is being traced.
