Encounter between Sector-49 police station, Noida and thieves/robbers

During checking near Sector-76 Metro Station, Sector-49 police station signaled two persons riding a suspicious motorcycle without a number plate to stop, upon which the motorcycle-riding criminal tried to escape and opened fire on the police team. In the retaliatory action taken by the police team, one criminal was injured by a bullet in his leg. The injured criminal has been identified as Lucky alias Govinda son Sumer Singh resident of village Mahoba Kala, police station Kasganj, Kotwali district Kasganj, age 24 years. An illegal pistol with one live cartridge and one empty cartridge have been recovered from the possession of the injured criminal. The other accomplice of the criminal, Vishal son Nipin resident of village Baraula, police station Sector-49, Noida, age 23 years, has been arrested during combing. 03 stolen mobile phones and a stolen motorcycle Apache have been recovered from the possession of the criminals. Both the miscreants are clever criminals who steal mobile phones and other valuables from houses and crowded areas like metro station etc. The injured miscreant has been sent to the hospital for treatment. More than half a dozen cases of robbery/theft are registered against the miscreant Lucky alias Govinda. Other information is being collected about them.
