When will the solar eclipse occur?
According to Pt. Avnish Sharma, priest of Laksar Sai Temple, the solar eclipse will start at 09:13 pm on October 02 as per Indian time and will end at 03:17 am late night. There were two lunar eclipses and two solar eclipses in the year 2024. The eclipse on October 02 will be the last solar eclipse of the year. After this, there will be no eclipse this year.
Ring of Fire: According to scientists, when the Sun, Moon and Earth come in a straight line, the astronomical event solar eclipse occurs. That is, when the Moon comes between the Sun and the Earth while rotating, the sunlight does not fall on the Earth, which is called a solar eclipse. When the Moon revolves around the Earth, its distance also changes. Sometimes the Moon is near the Earth and sometimes far. The Moon appears bigger when it is near the Earth and smaller when it is far. If the Moon is near the Earth during a solar eclipse, then due to its large size, it completely covers the Sun from the Earth. At the same time, when it is far away, due to its small size, it is able to cover only the middle part of the Sun. Due to which the edge of the Sun is visible, which forms a ring of fire in the sky. This is called the Ring of Fire. The Ring of Fire may take more than 3 hours to complete, but the actual Ring of Fire can be seen from a few seconds to 12 seconds.
Will the Ring of Fire be visible in India?
The last annular solar eclipse of the year 2024 will be visible in the Pacific Ocean, South America, Argentina, Fiji, Chile and other areas. However, this solar eclipse of the year 2024 will also not be visible in India.
Will the Sutak period be valid or not?
According to astrologer Pandit Sandeep Parashar, the time from 12 hours before the solar eclipse to its end is considered as the Sutak period. Auspicious works are prohibited during this time. The doors of the temple are closed. However, where the eclipse is not visible, the Sutak period is also not valid there. Therefore, since the second and last solar eclipse of the year will not be visible in India, the Sutak period will also not be valid.
