In order to increase the voting percentage as per the intention of the Election Commission of India, under the chairmanship of District Magistrate/District Election Officer Gautam Buddha Nagar Manish Kumar Verma, in the auditorium of the camp office last day along with all the sector officers and BLOs in the last assembly general election 2022. A review meeting was held regarding the low turnout.

The District Election Officer, while giving instructions to increase the voting percentage, said that all sector officers should form a group of their respective BLOs and get the voters verified and should also do 100 percent verification of one polling place themselves. He said that by running a campaign, complete information regarding their serial number and polling place number should be made available to all the voters in time and all the voters should be made aware and encouraged to vote, so that the voting percentage increases in the upcoming Lok Sabha General Elections 2024. Can be increased.

The District Election Officer said that the reasons due to which the voting percentage remained low in the last assembly elections 2022 should be assessed and the report should be made available. He said that during verification, if the voters give information regarding their booth that their polling place has changed, then they should fill Form 8 and take action to shift them to the correct polling place. Besides, instructions were given to Electoral/Assistant Electoral Registration Officers 61 Noida and 62 Dadri to form small groups of BLOs and hold meetings with the supervisors and the BLOs should provide 100% verification of their respective polling places and provide the reports.
