Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 4th Global Renewable Energy Investor Conference and Expo (RE-INVEST) at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Union Minister Pralhad Joshi were also present during this. Chief Ministers of many other states have also reached Gandhinagar, Gujarat to attend the 4th Global Renewable Energy Investor Conference. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma also met.

Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav said, "The government under the leadership of PM Modi is working in various sectors. PM Modi's Gujarat model has ensured development in various sectors, especially the energy sector. Under this, a program is being organized to promote the use of solar energy, wind energy, hydropower energy in an effort to reduce carbon emissions in Gujarat.
