Bandra Police has registered a case and taken the man on the scooty and the woman into custody. Both are being questioned. Firing took place at Salman's Mumbai house Galaxy Apartment on the morning of 14 April. The people who fired came on a bike. They fired 5 rounds outside Salman's house and fled. Two days later, Mumbai Police arrested the accused from Gujarat. In the case, the police have so far made 9 people accused including Lawrence. Of these, 6 have been arrested so far. On May 1, one of the 6 accused, Anuj Thapan, committed suicide in police custody. Lawrence is already in jail in other cases.

It was 4.55 in the morning. The police bodyguard told that two people who came on a bike fired a gun on the balcony of the first floor of Galaxy Apartment. Salman had also said, earlier also Lawrence and his gang had talked in an interview about killing me and my family. I believe that Lawrence carried out this firing with the help of his gang members, when my family members were sleeping. His plan was to kill me and my family members, so he got this attack done.' Salim Khan lives with his family in Galaxy Apartment in Juhu area of ​​​​Mumbai. He has also been embroiled in controversies due to going on a morning walk during the Corona lockdown. Then he said that he has been going for a morning walk for 40 years because he has a problem in his lower back and the doctor has advised him to do so. In 2022 also, Salim Khan filed a complaint at the Bandra Police Station. He had received a letter in which Salman and his family were threatened.
