On the third day of Ramlila organized by Shri Ramlila Trust Committee in Kushbhavanpur Nagar, the story of Narad Moh Ravan Janam was staged by the artists of Ayodhya.

When Devraj Indra got the information about Narad Muni's penance, he started thinking that Narad Muni is doing such a difficult penance with the aim of getting the position of Indra. Thinking so, he called Kaamdev with the aim of disturbing Narad Muni's penance and ordered him to break Narad Muni's penance in any way. Kaamdev immediately reached the place with all his weapons where Narad Muni was engrossed in meditation and he tried in every way to break Narad Muni's penance but it had no effect on Narad Muni. In the end, disappointed, Kaamdev returned.

The reason why Kaamdev did not have any effect on Narad Muni was that once Lord Shiva had performed penance at the same place and had reduced Kaamdev to ashes with his third eye. After some time, when Narad Muni's meditation was complete, he became proud of having conquered Kaamdev and he reached Kailash to narrate this story to Lord Shiva and narrated the entire story of victory over Kaamdev to Lord Shankar. On hearing this, the devotee-loving Lord Shiva, who knew the reason for Narad's victory over Kaamdev, said, "O Narad, you are very dear to me, that is why I am teaching you not to discuss this incident with anyone else and keep it a secret. But due to ego in his mind, Narad Muni did not follow the advice of Lord Shiva and reached Brahmaloka. After reaching there, he praised Brahma Ji and discussed this incident with him as well. Narad Muni thought that his father Brahma would praise him after hearing the news of his victory over Kama, but Brahma Ji also asked Narad to keep this matter a secret like Lord Shiva. Disappointed, Narad Muni reached Vishnulok, there seeing Narad Muni coming, the omniscient Lord Vishnu welcomed Narad Muni in many ways and after giving him a suitable seat, asked the reason for his arrival,

Then Narad Muni told Lord Vishnu the whole story of his victory over Kama. Hearing the egoistic words of Narad Muni, Lord Vishnu praised Narad Muni a lot. Then Narad Muni bowed to Lord Vishnu and left from there with pride. Lord Vishnu protects his devotees in every way, ego opens the doors of downfall, so for the welfare of his supreme devotee Narad, Lord Vishnu created an illusion. He created a huge city in the path of Narad Muni which was beautiful, decorated and pleasant in every way. When Narad Muni reached there, he saw that the king there had organized a swayamvar for the marriage of his daughter in which many kings and princes had reached. Then Narad Muni reached the palace of that king, seeing Narad Muni, the king made him sit on the throne and served him in every way. After this, the king called his daughter and said to Narad Muni that O Muni Visharda, you are a great scholar of astrology, I have organized a swayamvar for the marriage of my daughter. Please tell me her fate, what kind of groom she will get etc. When Sage Narad saw the fate of that extremely beautiful princess, he was astonished. Seeing that princess endowed with all kinds of beautiful qualities, Sage Narad said. O King, your daughter is endowed with all auspicious qualities, is extremely fortunate and is like Goddess Lakshmi herself. Whoever marries this girl will become a world emperor. Even Gods and Demons will not be able to defeat him. Saying this, Narad Muni took leave from the king and left from there and in his mind he started wishing to marry that girl himself. In this way, the philosopher Narad got trapped in the magnetic attraction of Maya. All women love beauty and thinking who is more beautiful than Lord Vishnu in this world, Narad Muni reached Vishnulok. Seeing him coming, Lord Vishnu, fascinated by his own Maya, asked Narad Muni the reason for his coming, then Narad Muni told the whole story to Lord Vishnu and said. O Lord, give me a beautiful form like yours so that the girl chooses me in the swayamvar.” Hearing this, the Lord started smiling slowly and said. O Muniraj, I will do whatever is good for you, you go to that place. Saying this, Lord Vishnu made all the body parts of Narad Muni like his own but gave him the face of a monkey. Seeing his body parts like God, Narad Muni became very happy and reached the swayamvar where the kings were sitting. He went and sat on a seat. And started thinking that I have assumed the form of Lord Vishnu, so the princess will surely choose me but Narad Muni was unaware of how ugly his face was. To protect Narad Muni, Lord Vishnu had sent two of his councillors who took the form of Brahmins and sat near Narad Muni. Those two councillors started talking to each other and making fun of Narad Muni to tell him about his real form but Narad Muni, overwhelmed with lust, did not pay attention to their words and started waiting for the princess to come. After some time, the princess came to that pavilion surrounded by women with a garland and started roaming in the assembly looking for the groom of her choice. Seeing Narad Muni's monkey-like face, the princess became angry and moved ahead. The girl became sad on not finding the groom of her choice in the entire assembly. Lord Vishnu took the girl with him and immediately disappeared from there and went to his abode. Seeing this, Sage Narad was very upset and then he appeared in the form of a Brahmin sent by the Lord.
