बिसरख में गैस सिलेंडर की कालाबाजारी पर पुलिस और आपूर्ति विभाग का छापा, 41 घरेलू और 5 कमर्शियल सिलेंडर बरामद

गौतमबुद्धनगर: बिसरख थाना क्षेत्र में पुलिस और जिला आपूर्ति विभाग की संयुक्त टीम ने एक छापेमारी अभियान में घरेलू और कमर्शियल गैस सिलेंडरों की कालाबाजारी का खुलासा किया है। इस छापेमारी के दौरान तीन अभियुक्तों, विरेन्द्र कुमार, संजय कुमार और सोनू कुमार की एजेंसियों से कुल 41 घरेलू गैस सिलेंडर और 5 कमर्शियल गैस सिलेंडर बरामद किए गए हैं।

Police and Supply Department raid on black marketing of gas cylinders in Bisrakh, 41 domestic and 5 commercial cylinders recovered


Gautam Budh Nagar: A joint team of police and district supply department in Bisrakh police station area has exposed the black marketing of domestic and commercial gas cylinders in a raid operation. During this raid, a total of 41 domestic gas cylinders and 5 commercial gas cylinders have been recovered from the agencies of three accused, Virendra Kumar, Sanjay Kumar and Sonu Kumar. Along with this, other illegal goods have also been seized. This action was taken on the instructions of the District Magistrate on the basis of a written complaint by Rajni Chaudhary, Supply Inspector Dadri. In this case, a case has been registered in Bisrakh police station under FIR No. 745/2024 under Section 3/7 of the Essential Commodities Act. Among the accused, Virendra Kumar has been arrested from the spot, while efforts are on to arrest Sanjay Kumar and Sonu Kumar.

Method of committing crime:

The accused Virendra, Sanjay and Sonu were buying domestic and commercial gas cylinders for Rs 840 and selling them to the needy for Rs 950.

The gas was being extracted from the gas cylinders and sold at Rs 90 per kg.

The gas cylinders were being stored in residential houses and black-marketed.

Details of recovery:

41 domestic gas cylinders

5 commercial gas cylinders

After this raid, the police and the supply department have indicated strict action against the accused and have expressed hope of arresting other absconding accused soon. In this case, steps are being taken to stop illegal gas cylinder trade with strict monitoring of the local administration.
