Led by Congress Minority Front National President and MP Imran Pratapgarhi, Himachal Pradesh Congress Minority Front President Iqbal Mohammad met Congress National General Secretary KC Venugopal in New Delhi.

Imran Pratapgarhi posted on social media and wrote that ''Met Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal with the delegation of Himachal Pradesh and apprised him of the situation, Venugopal assured the delegation that the Congress party is committed to implementing Rahul Gandhi's message of love at the grassroots level, there is no place for hatred in any Congress-ruled state. Imran wrote that he met the delegation from Himachal Pradesh and inquired about the recent incidents that took place there. The Congress party is committed to mutual harmony and the Congress leadership is making every possible effort to restore brotherhood in the society.

State Congress Minority Front President Iqbal Mohammad said that someone named Venugopal has assured him that an atmosphere of harmony will prevail in the state. Party sources said that Venugopal also spoke to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu over the phone regarding this matter. Iqbal said that people of all religions live together in Himachal Pradesh, but some people are trying to spoil the atmosphere and defame the government. The Chief Minister of Himachal is working by taking people of all religions together.
