Leopard terror in Rajasthan, kills minor girl
The series of human deaths in leopard attacks in Rajasthan is not stopping. Just 10 days ago, a leopard beheaded a woman. Now a minor girl who had gone to graze goats in Undithal village of Udaipur was also killed by a leopard. The leopard dragged the girl four kilometers inside the forest and chewed her hand. The leopard also badly scratched the mouth, back and chest of the minor. The body of the boy was found about 4 kilometers inside the dense forest. The incident took place on Thursday morning in Undithal village of Gogunda police station area. The girl was being searched since Wednesday.
Gogunda police station officer Shaitan Singh Nathawat said that on Wednesday afternoon at 12.30 pm, Kamala (16), daughter of Ambalal Kapaya, had gone to graze goats in the forest of Undithal village. When she did not return home till late night, the family started worrying. With the help of villagers, they tried to search for the girl till late night but could not find any trace of her. In the morning, when the family and villagers went to the forest to search, they came to know about the incident. Nathawat said that as soon as the body was found, the family informed the police. Here, after the incident, the villagers have demanded to catch the leopard by setting up a cage in the area. The forest department team has reached the spot and is investigating. Since the body was found 4 km inside the forest, ambulance or any vehicle cannot go there, so the body was brought out on foot. The girl's father Ambalal Kapaya does farming and labour, Kamala was his youngest daughter. Her two sisters are married. There is an atmosphere of panic among the villagers after the incident.
