Plan to develop social welfare hostels announced: East Godavari Collector

East Godavari Collector P. Prashanthi announced plans to develop social welfare hostels using Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds. She directed officials to prepare proposals for the initiative, stressing the need for the Industries and Factories departments to play a leading role in obtaining CSR contributions from industrial units. The aim is to upgrade hostels such as the Rajanagaram Boys Hostel and Korukonda Girls Hostel, which are currently in a dilapidated state. During the review meeting of the Tourism Department, Prashanthi also mentioned upcoming competitions for college and school students in honour of World Tourism Day on September 27, encouraging colleges to submit four nominations for events including speech, quiz, video reel and photography.
