Saroopganj police of Sirohi district arrested the wanted supplier from Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh in the case of smuggling of 81.700 kg poppy husk in a Swift Dzire car a week ago. Accused Kishore Singh son of Nand Singh Rajput is a top-10 police station level poppy supplier. Saroopganj police station officer Kamal Singh said that the police team has arrested Kishore Singh, resident of Changli Naya Abadi district Mandsaur. A case is also registered against the accused in PS Sadar Pali under the NDPS Act.

In fact, on September 12, a team led by sub-inspector Panna Lal signaled a Swift Dzire car coming from Udaipur near Malera Tiraha on the Udaipur-Pindwara four lane to stop. Instead of stopping the car, the driver drove it at a high speed, due to which the car went off the road. On searching, 81.700 kg of poppy husk was found in it. During this time 5 accused were arrested, but Kishore Singh had absconded. Now the police have arrested him too.
