ith a view to women empowerment, the team of women policemen is making students aware about Mission Shakti and cyber crime by setting up chaupals in markets, major roads, schools/colleges etc.
In accordance with the intention of Uttar Pradesh government, all the police stations of the district, with the aim of making women/daughters self-reliant and safe, making them aware of their rights and awakening a sense of security/confidence in them by effectively preventing crimes happening to them. Under the "Mission Shakti" campaign Phase 4.0, under the direction of Superintendent of Police Somen Burma, the police visited schools in all the police station areas of the district and made the students aware about Mission Shakti and cyber crime.
Anti Romeo teams will communicate with women/girls in their respective police station areas/beats/schools/colleges, coaching institutes, temples and other public places and inform them about the safety of women on various helpline numbers like- Women Power Line 1090, Women Helpline 181, Awareness was created by giving detailed information about Chief Minister Helpline-1076, Police Emergency Service 112, Child Helpline 1098, Health Service 102, Ambulance Service 108 and their respective CUG numbers.
