Noida. The much-awaited elections for the Noida Media Club were peacefully and transparently held on Thursday. All positions within the club were elected unopposed, with senior journalist Alok Dwivedi being chosen as the new president. The entire process was conducted under the supervision of Election Officer Mr. Abhay Singh and the club’s founding member and Chairman of the Management Committee, senior journalist Mr. Sanjeev Yadav.
The elections took place at the Ganga Shopping Complex in Sector-29, Noida. A total of 15 nomination papers were filed for various positions, but on the final day for withdrawal, eight candidates withdrew their nominations, resulting in unopposed elections for most positions.

According to the details, three candidates - Alok Dwivedi, Virendra Malik, and Kunal Jaiswal - had filed for the president's position, but Virendra Malik and Kunal Jaiswal withdrew their nominations, making Alok Dwivedi the unopposed winner.
Similarly, for the position of General Secretary, JP Singh and Devendra Prabhat had filed nominations, but Devendra Prabhat withdrew his nomination, resulting in JP Singh being elected unopposed. For the Vice President position, Amit Chaudhary and Harsh Pandey contested, but Harsh Pandey’s nomination was invalidated due to non-payment of the required fee, leading to Amit Chaudhary's unopposed victory.
For the Treasurer's post, three candidates - Manoj Vats, Himanshu Singh, and Shiv Tyagi - filed nominations. However, after Himanshu Singh and Shiv Tyagi withdrew their nominations, Manoj Vats was elected unopposed. In the Secretary position, Jagdish Sharma and Gajendra Yadav were contenders, but Gajendra Yadav withdrew his nomination, making Jagdish Sharma the unopposed winner.
For the Executive Members' position, Pramod Sharma, Anchal Yadav, and Priya Rana filed nominations, but Priya Rana withdrew her nomination, resulting in the unopposed election of Pramod Sharma and Anchal Yadav.
The successful conduct of the elections has created an atmosphere of excitement within the Noida Media Club. Senior journalists have expressed high hopes for the new committee to play an active role in the welfare of media professionals.
