On Tuesday late evening, Anil Kumar (35) son of Ishwar, a resident of Dinarpur, went to buy liquor at a liquor shop on the road leading to Hariabans in front of the sugar mill. At the same time, Hariabans resident Pushpendra Kumar also came there to buy liquor. According to eyewitnesses, Anil bought liquor first. It is alleged that when Pushpendra started buying liquor, the salesman charged him Rs 10 more. When Pushpendra protested, Anil, who was standing nearby, said that they always charge Rs 10 more. Anil and Pushpendra quarreled over this and then a fight broke out. After that Pushpendra called his friends, who came with sticks. They beat Anil to death. Gandevra resident Kuldeep, who runs a canteen there, also got injured when he came to rescue him. Seeing Kuldeep's condition, he was admitted to the district hospital. SP City Abhimanyu Mangalik says that information has been received about a fight between two people while buying liquor in Gagalhedi. One person has died. The injured has been admitted to the hospital. No complaint has been received from the deceased's family. On the other hand, Excise Officer Karunendra Singh says that the matter of overpricing is not in his knowledge. If it is so, then action will be taken after investigating it.
