1988 batch IPS officer of Jharkhand cadre SN Pradhan will retire after two days i.e. on 31st August. He is currently on central deputation and is the DG of Narcotics Control Bureau. After retiring on 31st August, Jharkhand Police will bid him farewell. Apart from SN Pradhan, 1989 batch IPS officer Ajay Bhatnagar will also retire in November this year. He is also on central deputation and is currently working as Joint Director in CBI.

1988 batch IPS officer of Jharkhand cadre SN Pradhan will retire after two days i.e. on 31st August. He is currently on central deputation and is the DG of Narcotics Control Bureau. After retiring on 31st August, Jharkhand Police will bid him farewell. Apart from SN Pradhan, 1989 batch IPS officer Ajay Bhatnagar will also retire in November this year. He is also on central deputation and is currently working as Joint Director in CBI.
Four more IPS officers will retire in the next five months. Four more IPS officers of Jharkhand cadre will retire in the next five months. Ajay Bhatnagar will retire on 30 November 2024, former DGP Ajay Kumar Singh and Muralilal Meena in January 2025 and RK Mallick on 31 January 2025. Six IPS officers will become DIG from January 1 Six IPS officers promoted to the Senior SP rank (Senior Selection Grade) of 2011 batch of Jharkhand cadre will become DIG from January 1, 2025. If the state government wishes, the officer promoted to the Senior SP rank can be made in-charge DIG anywhere at present. These include Chandan Jha, Chandan Sinha, Priyadarshi Alok, Ajit Peter Dungdung, Anuranjan Kispotta and Ambar Lakra.
