Netizens know that it is Doraemon's birthday and they are celebrating the day with a flood of social media posts. The internet is flooded with birthday wishes and messages for Doraemon, who came into being as a fictional character in the manga and anime series created by Fujiko F. Fujio in 1970 as per our time zone.

According to a fan page, Doraemon told Nobita in the Doraemon's 100 Year Time Capsule show that "It's been 10 years since I was born, I haven't returned to the factory yet". Notably, the character's age was stated to be minus 90 years in news reports from 2022. In 2024, the character will thus turn minus 88 years old as it is said to be entering the 21st century.X users are happy to celebrate Doraemon's birth anniversary with festive pictures and messages.
