Cabinet meeting approves 3% hike in Dearness Allowance of Central employees

The wait of central employees is going to end soon. The announcement of Dearness Allowance (DA Hike) to be implemented from July 2024 may be made soon. There will be a jump of 3 percent in this. However, there is still doubt whether the government will increase it by 3 percent or the dearness allowance will be only 3 percent. Meaning the calculation will start from 0. If sources are to be believed, it can be approved in the cabinet meeting to be held just before Dussehra.
