A camp was organized in Sirsa village on Friday to determine the eligibility of farmers who gave land to Greater Noida Authority to get six percent of the land. More than 70 farmers came to the camp and handed over documents related to determining their eligibility.

Greater Noida. A camp was organized in Sirsa village on Friday to determine the eligibility of farmers who gave land to Greater Noida Authority to get six percent of the land. More than 70 farmers came to the camp and handed over documents related to determining their eligibility. The authority will allot plots after determining their eligibility. The authority will soon release the schedule for setting up camps in other villages also. Along with this, in this camp, farmers applied for lease back in the correct cases received after SIT investigation.


Greater Noida Authority acquires land from farmers for development projects and in return develops 06 percent of the total land acquired by the Authority and gives it to the farmers. Farmers have to come to the authority to decide their eligibility. Greater Noida Authority CEO NG Ravi Kumar has given instructions to organize camps in the villages to provide facilities to the farmers and decide their eligibility for getting six per cent of the land. In this sequence, the authority organized a camp in Sirsa village on Friday. Authority's OSD Himanshu Verma said that the team of Work Circle 8 of Bhulekh Department and Project Department reached Sirsa village at around 11 am.


The team collected six percent plot papers of more than 70 farmers who came to the camp. Applications for genuine lease back cases were also received in the camp itself. Farmers have appreciated the initiative of Greater Noida Authority CEO to organize camps in the villages itself. Other complaints related to the village were also heard in this camp. An assurance has been given to dispose of them. Along with OSD Himanshu Verma, OSD Rajnikant Pandey, Senior Manager Nagendra Singh, Manager Rakesh Anand etc. were present in the camp.
