On May 8, 2025, Noida Authority's Chief Executive Officer Shri Lokesh M conducted a comprehensive inspection of works related to the civil, water, electricity, and public health departments in the Noida region. Several key directives were issued during the inspection, including road widening, drain cleaning, improving parking systems, and implementing traffic control measures. Strict actions were taken against negligent officials, including salary withholding and penalties. The primary objective of the inspection was to enhance cleanliness, traffic management, and public facilities in the city of Noida.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Noida Authority, Mr. Lokesh M, conducted a comprehensive inspection of civic, water, electricity, and public health-related works across the Noida region on Thursday. He was accompanied by Additional CEO Mr. Sanjay Khatri, General Manager (Water/Electricity) Mr. R.P. Singh, General Manager (Public Health) Mr. S.P. Singh, Deputy GM Mr. Vijay Rawal, and Senior Manager (Public Health/Civil).

Key directives issued during the inspection:

  • Sector-24 Main Irrigation Drain: Immediate cleaning of floating material and submission of a photographic report.

  • Vacant Plot in Sector-25A: Due to dumping of garbage and C&D waste by locals, the public health department was instructed to clean it within 7 days. The civil department was directed to install fencing around the plot.

  • Fortis Hospital Intersection: Electric poles obstructing road alignment toward Khoda to be shifted. Footpaths to be constructed for road widening.

  • Water Pipelines & OFC Cable Safety: Structural covering near drains to protect pipelines and optical fiber cables.

  • Beautification Measures: Decorative planters to be placed around slab-covered drains.

  • Tree Relocation: Trees obstructing road widening to be relocated.

  • Auto & E-Rickshaw Lane: A separate lane to be developed with signage for traffic regulation near Fortis T-point.

  • Leveling & Resurfacing: Uneven manhole covers at Fortis T-point to be leveled; entire intersection to be resurfaced.

  • E-Charging Station Relocation: Charging station on the road to be shifted to the side for safety.

  • Zudio Mall (Sector-62): Damaged mobile toilet lying on the service road to be removed immediately.

  • Ramlila Ground Park Crossing: Installation of new traffic booths and zebra crossings at major junctions.

  • Khoda Road Garbage & Drain Waste: One-month salary of Public Health Manager Umesh Chand Tyagi withheld due to negligence.

  • OFC Cable Manholes: Raised and damaged manholes to be repaired and leveled.

  • Negligence in Drain Cleaning: ₹50,000 penalty imposed on contractor M/s Ausan Construction.

  • Polythene & Garbage on Roadsides: Due to lack of regular cleaning, a show cause notice and ₹1 lakh penalty issued to M/s North India contractor.

  • Illegal Parking at Plot C-24, Sector-2: Notice issued to local residents for unauthorized vehicle parking causing traffic congestion.

This inspection by the Noida Authority aimed at improving cleanliness, traffic management, and public amenities across the city, while also delivering a clear message of strict action against negligence.
