The deceased was a resident of Hussainpur in Mojihadpur police station area and has been identified as Mohammad Abu Nasar. It is said that Abu Nasar was addicted to drugs, due to which the whole family was upset. He used to beat his father and mother while intoxicated, which was not liked by the younger brother Abu Saeed.

It is alleged that the younger brother picked up a knife and attacked him repeatedly on his neck and chest, due to which he died. After committing the murder, he himself reached the police station and surrendered.
