पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार ने आरजी कर मामले में गतिरोध समाप्त करने के लिए आंदोलनकारी चिकित्सकों को बातचीत के लिए बुलाया है।

Didi's government called the agitating doctors for talks

The West Bengal government has called the agitating doctors for talks to end the deadlock in the RG tax case. Bengal Chief Secretary Manoj Pant said that the doctors have been invited to the Chief Minister's residence at 5 pm. However, the doctors say that they will hold an important meeting in the evening. Only after this a decision will be taken regarding the meeting with the Chief Minister.

He wrote, 'This is the fifth and last time we are contacting you for a meeting between the Chief Minister and the representatives. As per our discussion on Saturday, we are once again inviting you to a meeting at the Chief Minister's residence in Kalighat for discussion. Pant hoped that the doctors would understand that there can be no live streaming or videography of the meeting, as the matter is pending before the Supreme Court. Instead, the minutes of the meeting will be recorded and both will have to sign it.'

Responding to the mail, the agitating doctors said that they will discuss among themselves and then inform about their decision to attend the meeting. Junior doctors of the government-run hospital have stopped work in protest against the rape and murder of a doctor on August 9. Earlier, Mamata Banerjee had appealed to the protesting doctors who had come to her residence for talks on Saturday evening to attend the meeting. Then the doctors had demanded a live telecast of the meeting. There was no conversation between the two sides due to no agreement on this. Mamata had appealed to the doctors to come inside and not get wet in the rain and said that I request all of you to come inside and participate in the meeting. Since the matter is in court, we cannot allow live telecast of the meeting. The meeting will be video recorded. I will provide you a copy of it only after the permission of the Supreme Court.
