New Delhi: A 35-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her neighbour in Delhi after a scuffle. The deceased has been identified as Soni, a resident of Bhikam Singh Colony of Farsh Bazar area.
Police said a call was received at the police control room (PCR) in which the caller said a woman had been stabbed and needed an ambulance. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Surendra Chaudhary said, “The police team reached street number 2 of Bhikam Singh Colony and found an injured woman, Soni, who had two to three injury marks on her left hand and a small wound on her stomach. ,
Soni was taken to Hedgewar Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Initial investigation revealed that Soni and her husband Satbir had a scuffle with their neighbour Rambaran, his wife Rita and their daughter over some issue, following which they were attacked with a knife. "FSL and crime teams were called to the hospital and the crime scene. A case has been registered under IPC section 302 (murder)," the officer said.
